Mumbai:
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Nationalist Congress chief Sharad Pawar met this afternoon to put out what he referred to as the “Template for 2024”. “What’s UPA? There is no such thing as a UPA,” stated Mamata Banerjee.
Tweeting photographs of the assembly, Mr Pawar – one of many key interlocutors of the opposition – posted: “Happy to fulfill Hon’ble CM of West Bengal Smt @MamataOfficial at my Mumbai residence. We Mentioned numerous points. We agreed upon the necessity to strengthen the collective efforts and dedication in the direction of safeguarding democratic values and guaranteeing the betterment of our folks”.
Final night, Ms Banerjee met Shiv Sena’s Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut. Her assembly with Uddhav Thackeray didn’t happen because the Chief Minister has undergone a surgical procedure and has been suggested isolation.
